Plot summary

A year later, Peter has embraced life with Honor and baby Daniel. His cases include an injured dog, a threatened lighthouse and two feuding brothers operating rival burger vans. Beatrice discovers that she is pregnant, Honor and Lyle struggle with their feelings for one another, and Peter returns home to find the supposedly dead Simon waiting for him.
