Plot summary
Simon returns to Kingdom & Kingdom as Peter investigates a local cricket captain accused of breaking sponsorship agreements. Simon complicates matters by beginning an affair with the cricketer’s wife. Elsewhere, Lyle represents an outspoken local campaigner and finds himself drawn further into Market Shipborough’s unconventional disputes.
